Move over Tom Brady, there is a new franchise leader in single game completion percentage in town. The New England Patriots’ 31-13 win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday saw Drake Maye go 21-for-23 for 222 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Completing 91.3% of his throws, the second-year quarterback managed to improve upon Brady’s […]

The Edmonton Oilers are going to have a roster crunch sometime soon. Currently, Zach Hyman, Jake Walman, and Mattias Janmark are all out of the lineup with injuries but expected back relatively soon (Hyman comes off LTIR on Nov. 1). Additionally, Alec Regula was just placed on IR on Sunday. But when all of those names are back, bodies will have to be moved out. Insider Frank Seravalli told Kevin Karius that four players are at risk of losing their places on the Oilers r...

It has been a tradition for Washington basketball over the last decade or so to host a public exhibition against a local D-II or D-III opponent that results in a 40+ point win. That changed on Sunday as the Huskies hosted UNLV for an exhibition aired on B1G+ to face a team that should actually […]

Well, it started off better. The Tennessee Titans got a field goal and a touchdown on their first two drives, respectively. They were even up 13-10 late in the second quarter. Then, like always, the wheels fell off. The New England Patriots scored 21 unanswered points to win 31-13. Cam Ward threw for 255 yards […]

Sunday was a sobering day for the Las Vegas Raiders. Not only were they historically beaten by a rival, but there were so many undesirable developments that all point to their first-year head coach Pete Carroll. It’s been just seven games, but it’s fair to wonder where are the Raiders headed with Carroll, who at […]

The Los Angeles Rams enter their bye week on a happy note after defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars 35-7 early Sunday morning. Los Angeles bounced back from a dismal offensive showing last week and took care of the Jaguars in London. Now, the Rams sit at 5-2 and atop the NFC West (for now), with four […]

In Mike Vrabel’s first game back in Tennessee since being fired after the 2023 season, his New England Patriots made it a memorable return — cruising to a 31-13 win over the Titans for their fourth straight victory. As the Patriots kneeled out the win, chants of Vrabel! Vrabel! echoed through Nissan Stadium. “I didn’t […]

Getafe 0-1 Real Madrid (Mbappé). The late show steals the points… Here is the immediate reaction. To come: Player ratings, interviews and a podcast. International break complete, and an away trip to Getafe awaited the players upon return. The short trip always proved to be a cagey occasion, and the line-up reflected this. Fede Valverde was at […]

Apathy (noun): (1) lack of feeling or emotion; (2) lack of interest or concern; impassiveness, indifference. The worst thing that can happen to an NFL franchise is for the fan base to reach a point where apathy is the dominating emotion surrounding the team. On Sunday, the Dolphins reached that point. It no longer feels […]

Well, this is an article I didn’t think I would have to write after that blowout win against Fresno State last week, least of all this soon. However, after another uncompetitive loss, this time at home to a now bowl-bound Hawaii Rainbow Warriors squad, Colorado State figured that it was about time to pull the […]

Pre-match Max Allegri had a ton of absences: Christian Pulisic, Christopher Nkunku, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Adrien Rabiot, Ardon Jashari, and Pervis Estupiñan were all in the stands, leaving him with a front two of Rafael Leão and Alexis Saelemaekers. Stefano Pioli—making his 500th Serie A appearance as a head coach—surprisingly started Moise Kean up front, claiming […]

It is an 8:00 Easter start time. Just win Jays. The good news is George Springer is playing. Hopefully he’ll be able to swing the bat and run the bases. I wouldn’t look for any stolen bases. But a home run or two would be a good thing. Tonight’s lineup: And, of course, Trey Yesavage […]

They’ve done it! The Chicago Bears have just secured their fourth consecutive win. It is the first time this franchise has accomplished that feat since 2018. Do I care that the streak has come against the Cowboys, Raiders, Commanders, and Saints? Not one bit. We, on the whole, have been through a lot since then … so I am not going to take it for granted when this team goes on a winning streak. It was ugly, but the result was certainly enjoyable.

I’ve been thinking about how to start this article for two days, but all of my thoughts can succinctly be distilled into two words. That sucked. The 2025 regular season was filled with excitement and hope that the Brewers would finally return to the World Series for the first time since 1982. Those aspirations were […]
