Can We All Survive This Wild-Avalanche Series?

Last night’s Minnesota Wild game was stressful, to say the least. It felt very much like that friend who pregamed too hard before hitting the town. Then, instead of having a good time and enjoying themselves with a few drinks and dancing, the fans were forced to babysit the “good time friend” throug...

What’s the next step for the Penguins?

The 2025-26 season is officially in the books for the Pittsburgh Penguins, and it was mostly an unexpected success in a couple of different ways. On a team level, they exceeded every possible expectation anybody had for them in the preseason and snapped the franchise’s three-year playoff drought. The postseason run was brief and ended […]

Welcome to the Playoff Thread for the games in the week of 5/4. Well we’re into Round Two now with plenty of interesting match ups. Still many former Predators left in the mix. Who are you bandwagoning? Have you all seen the Captain giving piggy back rides while telling his kids they have to eat their broccoli? Then Ellie saying this is normal life. Don’t blink during the commercials. Just a reminder – we’re always looking for new people to chat with and to be part of our co...

Bottom Six Minutes: Jakub Dobeš steals a ticket to the second round

After six extremely tight, hard-fought games, the Montreal Canadiens saved their worst for last against the Tampa Bay Lightning. They struggled mightily to get shots on goal in game seven, unable to get through the wall of bodies the Lightning were putting in the shooting lanes, and often missing the net entirely when they did. The result was a paltry nine shots on goal for the Habs through 60 minutes. But they don’t ask how, they ask how many, and the answer you’re looking for in the playoffs...

Vancouver Canucks Interview Pierre Dorion For GM Job

The Vancouver Canucks ' GM search added a big name when TSN's Darren Dreger reported that Pierre Dorion was in Vancouver last week and has interviewed for the organization's vacant general manager position. Dorion, 53, spent eight seasons as GM of the Ottawa Senators from 2016 through 2023 and has been out of the league since his dismissal following the organization's role in the invalidated Evgenii Dadonov trade, which cost Ottawa a first-round pick and a $1M fine. He is now the only cand...
