The Cleveland Browns are heading into their bye week, so now would be an ideal time to make the move at quarterback from Dillon Gabriel to Shedeur Sanders. This would give Sanders the bye week to prepare and get ready to face off against the New York Jets. Should the Browns choose to make this […]
Growing pains. Growing pains. Growing pains. That’s what I have to keep telling myself after Bears games like this. Having said that, this one sucked. Lack of execution in all three phases. Poorly timed mistakes. Brutal special teams effort. It felt like a game like this was overdue after a few tight wins against bad teams. Baltimore’s record is bad, but they’re a good team, even without Lamar Jackson. They made the Bears pay for their sloppiness today.

The Houston Texans ran the most plays (16) and took the most time off the clock (9:39) on their opening drive against the San Francisco 49ers. Houston became the first team to score on its opening drive against the 49ers this season. After all of those plays, the Texans only managed a field goal to […]
Back home at Gillette Stadium, it was a tale of two half the New England Patriots against the Cleveland Browns. Behind three first-half sacks by Myles Garrett and another slow defensive start, New England took just a 9-7 lead into the locker room. But, Drake Maye and Co. took over in the second half as […]
The Cleveland Browns had a nice start to the game offensively, but it was all downhill from there. And while the defense held strong for a half, things unraveled in the third quarter for a variety of reasons. Before you knew it, a close game was a 30-7 rout heading into the final quarter of […]

It’s Sunday, and you know what that means — it’s time for our weekly social media roundup! With the baseball season in the rearview mirror, New York sports fans turn towards football, and with the Giants and Jets being, well, the Giants and Jets, they immediately turn their eyes to the Knicks and Rangers at Madison […]
NFL on FOX – Week 8 Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-2) at New Orleans Saints (1-6) The New Orleans Saints host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers here in Week 8. The Bucs are sitting in first place in the NFC South while the Saints are unfortunately sitting in last place. Although the Saints are firmly home underdogs this week, […]
The Falcons were dominated by the 1-6 Dolphins to the tune of 34-10 in Week 8. Kevin Knight is joined by Allen Strk to discuss the moribund state of Atlanta, the eventual end of the Raheem Morris era, offensive failings centered around Zac Robinson, and a strange obsession with JD Bertrand. Fellow Falcoholics, welcome to […]

For two completely separate reasons, the general sense was that both the Chicago Bears and Baltimore Ravens needed to win this game to keep long-term playoff hopes alive. On Sunday, Baltimore proved to be the hungrier team. Lamar Jackson didn’t suit up for the Ravens, but their offense was still able to have their way […]
I said repeatedly this week that this was a game the Falcons couldn’t afford to lose. That had very little to do with big picture standings and upcoming schedules, though obviously those mattered to, and much more to do with how bad the Dolphins had looked thus far in 2025. If they got right against […]
The Miami Dolphins entered Week 8 with a 1-6 record and a sense of doom surrounding everyone on the team. The hot seat underneath head coach Mike McDaniel had never been hotter, and the calls for a change were incessant. A team in disarray headed into Georgia to face the Atlanta Falcons. The team that […]
Only four quarterbacks in NFL history have defeated all 32 teams in the league: Brett Favre, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, and Tom Brady. This Sunday, Aaron Rodgers can become the fifth. The only team the future Hall of Fame QB hasn’t beaten is the Green Bay Packers, the team that drafted him and called him […]
James Cook notched a career day against the Carolina Panthers and the Bills Bills defense made a huge statement against Andy Dalton to secure an easy win in Charlotte. Sean McDermott is 9-0 coming out of the bye during his NFL career. The Bills avoided a three-game losing streak for the first time in Josh […]
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Indianapolis Colts are hoping to sign starting quarterback Daniel Jones to a long-term contract extension at year-end: The fact that the Colts are hoping to keep Indianapolis for the foreseeable future is hardly surprising given that he’s been one of the catalysts to their remarkable 2025 turnaround. While […]
To the outside viewer, Saturday’s Patriot League contest between Lehigh and Fordham may not have been much to watch. The Mountain Hawks kept on rolling through their undefeated season, easily dispatching the Rams 27-6. Fordham is now 1-7 and has no hope of reaching the playoffs this year. All of that, though, can take a […]
The Buffalo Bills got a career game from James Cook on Sunday. Not only did he set a career high with 216 rushing yards, he ran for more yards in a game than any Bills player since the 1970s. It’s also the most in a game in the 2025 season. Cook started the game with […]
The Washington Commanders visit the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football, so we’ve got a few more games to watch late Sunday afternoon. Fox only has one game on their late slate, an NFC South matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New Orleans Saints. The Bucs are 5-1, and in 1st place […]
We enter the 4th quarter between the Cleveland Browns and New England Patriots in Week 8 of the 2025 NFL season. A win this week and the Browns stay alive in the AFC North “race” (the division has been pretty bad). A loss this week, and Cleveland enters the bye week with more questions about […]

The fourth quarter is off to a roaring start for the Chicago Bears.
Facing a 10-point deficit to start the period, the Bears punched in a touchdown with a D’Andre Swift run:

This score came after a huge third down screen pass from quarterback Caleb Williams to Swift, which gave the Bears a 1st-and-goal situation. But unlike the team’s first two trips, the th...
