The Baltimore Ravens ended their four-game losing streak with a 30-16 victory over the Chicago Bears on Monday. Here are Baltimore Beatdown’s Roundtable Reactions to the team’s win: John Harbaugh and Zach Orr outcoached Ben Johnson, Todd Monken and Tyler Huntley led the offense to 30 points, and the Ravens took advantage of some great […]

No Lamar Jackson, no problem for the Baltimore Ravens.
But when it came to the Chicago Bears, there were lots of problems. All over the field. Offense. Defense. Coaching. Special teams. And the end result was a 30-16 win for the Ravens to snap the Bears’ four-game winning streak.
FINAL: Baltimore Ravens 30, Chicago Bears 16 ( ESPN BOX SCORE )
Thoughts on a disappointing Week 8 loss

The old saying of adding insult to injury doesn’t apply to the Cleveland Browns loss to the New England Patriots in Week 8 because it was a game that insulted fans from the second quarter on, AND was loaded with injuries. The Browns say they don’t plan to move on from QB Dillon Gabriel, but […]
The Atlanta Falcons have lost two games in a row and are now below .500 at 3-4. It was a pathetic performance for the home team fans, and many are wondering how the team will respond. Here are the Week 8 snap reactions. JD Bertrand is not a starter or substitution-quality linebacker Earlier this week, […]
The Buffalo Bills mauled the Carolina Panthers in Week 8, sparked by a dominating rushing attack led by running back James Cook and an assignment-sound offensive line. It’s clear that head coach Sean McDermott put in a ton of work during the bye week. Buffalo once again exits the bye with a win, the ninth-consecutive […]
Placing the blame on one player or coach after the Cleveland Browns were controlled by the New England Patriots in Week 8 would be unfair. The failure was overwhelming, to be honest, outside of DE Myles Garrett. As is true with good teams and bad teams, the quarterback position will always get a load of […]
As you likely know by now, there is tragic news today in the Jets fanbase. Nick Mangold passed away at the age of 41 from complications due to kidney disease. A couple of weeks ago, Mangold publicly revealed his illness and announced that he needed a transplant. Mangold is a Jets legend. The team selected […]
Four in a row became five in a row on Sunday. The New England Patriots defeated the Cleveland Browns by a score of 32-13 at Gillette Stadium, where relentless pass rush and an early interception were outlasted. Here’s glance back on the 1 p.m. ET kickoff as head coach Mike Vrabel’s side nears November with […]
The Philadelphia Eagles are 6-2 after beating the New York Giants at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday. Final score: 38 to 20. This was a much-needed outcome for a Birds team that failed to outgain their opponent in every game prior to this result. Really nice to win comfortably for once. And the Eagles did […]
The Indianapolis Colts are at home to take on the Tennessee Titans in week 8 of the 2025 season, kickoff is at 4:25 p.m. EST. Last week our Colts dominated a good LA Chargers team. The game was never as close as the 38-24 final score would indicate. That said, the game was not without it’s concerns. […]
The Eagles’ run game was back on full display Sunday against the Giants, and Saquon Barkley started the game hot with a 65-yard TD run. Unfortunately, his contributions ended after a 28-yard explosive play resulted in the RB pulling up and looking a little gimpy on his way to the medical tent. He was sidelined […]
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Indianapolis Colts backup quarterback Anthony Richardson underwent surgery to repair his orbital bone fracture on Monday—but could still return this season: The former 4th overall pick of the 2023 NFL Draft has suffered a myriad on injuries since entering the league with Indianapolis (including 13 games in his rookie […]
Just because the Texans are done playing (after winning 26-15) doesn’t mean football’s done for the day. We still got games on CBS and Fox, as prophesized by the folks at 506 Sports. Anyway, the maps. CBS LATE GAMES Red: Dallas Cowboys at Denver Broncos (Announcers: Jim Nantz, Tony Romo; Referee: Carl Cheffers)Blue: Tennessee Titans […]
Another Sunday, another New England Patriots victory. Facing off against the Cleveland Browns, the team of head coach Mike Vrabel secured its fifth win in a row with a final score of 32-13. Here is a Patriots-centric view at some of the key moments of the game. Moment No. 1: Tone setter “I think if […]
In the New York Jets’ eighth game of the 2025 season, on a cool, partly cloudy autumn afternoon in Cincinnati, Ohio, the Jets beat the Cincinnati Bengals, 39 – 38 in a wild back and forth contest. The first half saw the Jets offense show some life, but the Jets defense fail miserably on the […]
The Detroit Lions (5-2) and Minnesota Vikings (3-4) will square off in Week 9, with both teams coming off extended breaks. The Lions are riding high after a Week 7 win on “Monday Night Football,” convincingly taking down a Tampa Bay Buccaneers team that was previously sitting atop the NFC. Meanwhile, the Vikings are limping […]
The Cowboys will finally have a winning record if they beat the Broncos. This is an open thread for game chat.
Saturday afternoon in Oxford, OH set up a matchup between the MAC’s best. Miami (OH) and Western Michigan saw similar season trajectories, both overcoming 0-3 starts with four-game win streaks, entering a critical showdown sporting identical 3-0 MAC records. Only one would remain perfect though, and as recent history would suggest, that team would be […]
The Cleveland Browns are heading into their bye week, so now would be an ideal time to make the move at quarterback from Dillon Gabriel to Shedeur Sanders. This would give Sanders the bye week to prepare and get ready to face off against the New York Jets. Should the Browns choose to make this […]
Growing pains. Growing pains. Growing pains. That’s what I have to keep telling myself after Bears games like this. Having said that, this one sucked. Lack of execution in all three phases. Poorly timed mistakes. Brutal special teams effort. It felt like a game like this was overdue after a few tight wins against bad teams. Baltimore’s record is bad, but they’re a good team, even without Lamar Jackson. They made the Bears pay for their sloppiness today.

The Houston Texans ran the most plays (16) and took the most time off the clock (9:39) on their opening drive against the San Francisco 49ers. Houston became the first team to score on its opening drive against the 49ers this season. After all of those plays, the Texans only managed a field goal to […]
Back home at Gillette Stadium, it was a tale of two half the New England Patriots against the Cleveland Browns. Behind three first-half sacks by Myles Garrett and another slow defensive start, New England took just a 9-7 lead into the locker room. But, Drake Maye and Co. took over in the second half as […]
The Cleveland Browns had a nice start to the game offensively, but it was all downhill from there. And while the defense held strong for a half, things unraveled in the third quarter for a variety of reasons. Before you knew it, a close game was a 30-7 rout heading into the final quarter of […]
