I hate to be the “I told you so” guy (he said, lying), but this was my last line for the Minnesota preview. It all adds up to a crushing loss to an undermanned team on national television tonight. It’s the death knell for this iteration of the Houston Rockets. Again, that was before Houston […]
On Wednesday night, the Houston Rockets squared off against the Minnesota Timberwolves on the prime-time slate, in a game that had a playoff feel to it. Certainly a playoff intensity. The game held major stakes, as it pertains to the Western Conference standings, as the two teams were separated by just a half game. Kevin […]

According the Sports Business Journal, the Big Ten is discussing a carve out to the current revenue sharing cap to allow schools that exceed it to retain players. Well, now it’s the most important game of the season. And Houston has lost all of their “This is the most important game of the season” games before now. The game is on ESPN, and the Rockets have had some stinkers on national television this season. I could look at the record, but ir’s gotta […]

The Portland Trail Blazers went 3-1 this week as they continue their push for seeding in the NBA Play-In race. They earned wins over the Indiana Pacers, Minnesota Timberwolves and Brooklyn Nets while suffering their lone defeat to the Denver Nuggets. Throughout the week multiple players impressed at different times, but Toumani Camara earned the […]

This was a disappointing loss. The Celtics just allowed the Wolves to play more physical and harder and better defense than them. I love how Wolves fans were wanting the Celtics players and coach in the beginning and hating on their own players and team. Then, at the end they are loving their players and coach. Next game they will hate them all again. Hopefully the Celtics can find their defense and energy for the next game. My favorites are in bold.&n...
BOSTON — Riding a four-game winning streak and facing a Minnesota Timberwolves team without Anthony Edwards, the Boston Celtics had momentum on their side. But circumstances only meant so much in Sunday night’s 102-92 loss at TD Garden. In Edwards’ absence, the Celtics faced a challenge that Jaylen Brown admitted they failed to meet. “They […]

The funny thing about playoff hypotheticals is that they always feel logical… right up until reality barges in. That’s where the Timberwolves are right now. Seeds 3-6 of the Western Conference are basically a four-car pileup happening in slow motion. Minnesota is behind the wheel, glaring at dashboard warning lights through the smoke coming from […]
Two steps forward, one step back. That’s been the story of the season for the Minnesota Timberwolves. On a beautiful Friday night in downtown Minneapolis, the Timberwolves took on the Portland Trail Blazers, looking to go for the 3-0 sweep of the homestand. The Wolves were again without both Anthony Edwards and Naz Reid, making […]
The Portland Trail Blazers staked a claim to a strong run at the 2026 NBA Playoffs on Friday night, beating the Minnesota Timberwolves 108-104 in a game that wasn’t decided until the final seconds of play. To quote a former Blazers star, both teams played hard in this one. It wasn’t a cliche, either. The […]
