Should Rams restructure A.J. Jackson contract?

A.J. Jackson only missed one game in 2025, an outcome many doubted would be possible after the Rams left tackle spent much of the summer dealing with a blood clots issue. In fact, Jackson has started all but six games at left tackle in the last three seasons combined and he’s now considered one of […]

Yankees Birthday of the Day: Russell Martin

Russell “Le Muscle” Martin is one of the greatest Canadian major leaguers of all-time. Breaking into The Show with the Dodgers in 2006, Martin came to the Yankees in December 2010, succeeding franchise icon Jorge Posada behind the plate. Martin played two solid seasons in the Bronx behind the plate before signing with Pittsburgh, where […]

Chargers to hire former NFL LB Sean Spence as LBs coach

The Chargers have finally found their replacement for NaVorro Bowman as their linebackers coach. Per NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the Bolts are hiring former Steelers, Titans, and Colts linebacker Sean Spence to fill the role following Bowman stepping away to spend more time with his family, including his son who is a top high-school basketball […]

Kings Dangling Asset To Make Another Upgrade

The Los Angeles Kings chose to go for it when they executed the deal to acquire Artemi Panarin and ink him to a new contract. Unfortunately, now Kevin Fiala seems to have suffered an injury that will keep him out a while, but that shouldn't stop the Kings from continuing forward and trying to get into the playoffs and win some rounds. David Pagnotta reminded us, "(The Kings) still have that second-round pick they got from the Habs for Phillip Danault. They basically told everybody they're will...

Dodgers notes: Edwin Díaz, Brusdar Graterol, Yoshinobu Yamamoto

It’s here! It’s finally here! The Dodgers will be playing baseball in less than a week’s time. As the team begins to regroup at Camelback Ranch, old faces and new alike make their way into the clubhouse, and among the new faces to the Dodgers is Edwin Díaz. Díaz was the first major signing this […]

Donovan Mitchell would welcome LeBron back to Cavs: ‘It’s LeBron James right?’

Another day, another write-up about LeBron James potentially joining the Cleveland Cavaliers after his current deal with the Los Angeles Lakers runs out this summer. This time, it was Cleveland’s current superstar, Donovan Mitchell, weighing in on the matter. Mitchell told SiriusXM NBA Radio that being a teammate with James would be special, but that […]

Jaxson Hayes laid a big egg in the dunk contest

Stop if you’ve heard this before, but the Lakers had someone in the dunk contest put up a dud. Jaxson Hayes competed in Saturday’s Dunk Contest at All-Star weekend and in a move that probably shouldn’t have been shocking given the history of Lakers competing in the event, it was a very underwhelming showing. Hayes’ […]

Chargers predicted to win Super Bowl LXI

The Los Angeles Chargers will have the Super Bowl in their backyard a year from now, but there is a chance that the team could be participating in the big game as opposed to watching it on TV. ESPN analyst Seth Walder believes the Chargers could win Super Bowl LXI at SoFi Stadium against the […]

How the Rams can find a new second receiver this offseason

Receiver is sneakily a major offseason need for the Los Angeles Rams. LA is likely to extend star receiver Puka Nacua this offseason. Davante Adams would be best-utilized in a more niche role. The rest of the team’s depth have not demonstrated they are capable of making important contributions on the NFL’s biggest stages. So […]

This position is sneakily a major offseason need for Rams

By nearly any measure the Los Angeles Rams had one of the NFL’s top offenses in 2025: On the surface it seems like a wild take to say that LA needs more offensive firepower. But they do. The Rams can be too heavily reliant at times on star receiver Puka Nacua. Nacua is the engine […]

3 Los Angeles Kings Trade Targets With Fiala Out for Season

The Los Angeles Kings are not a big fan of Olympic hockey. In Switzerland's matchup against Canada on Friday, Kings winger Kevin Fiala fell awkwardly with Tom Wilson landing on his leg, and Fiala's since had season-ending leg surgery in Italy.  It's the worst news possible for the Kings, as they'll now have a giant hole in their top six once the Olympic break concludes. Three points out of a playoff spot, look for GM Ken Holland to make a significant deal ahead of the March 6 deadline. He...

Give me the DJ Moore Comeback Tour

I’ll admit it. I was mad. In the immediate aftermath of the Chicago Bears’ playoff loss to the Los Angeles Rams and the game-losing interception on which DJ Moore seemed to run a poor route, I decided I’d had enough. All the effort questions, the statistical regression, the ducking of the questions about it after […]

A Dodgers Valentine’s Day

It’s Valentine’s Day today, so I hope you will all spend your Saturday thinking about Bobby Valentine, who played for the Dodgers from 1969-72, or maybe 2005 third baseman and shortstop José Valentín, or perhaps Tom Lovett, a pitcher for Brooklyn in the 19th century. Or maybe Sandy Amorós can get you in the mood […]

How to watch the 2026 NBA All-Star Game

The 75th NBA All-Star Game tips off Sunday at 5 p.m. ET from the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, where the Clippers play. You can watch it on NBC or stream it on Peacock. Pre-game coverage starts earlier in the day. John Tesh will perform “Roundball Rock” live at the event, and perhaps we’ve taken this […]

Breaking: Update on Kevin Fiala Confirms the Worst for LA Kings

Los Angeles Kings forward Kevin Fiala had surgery on Saturday morning after suffering a serious knee injury in Switzerland's game on Friday against Canada . It's official: his NHL season is over.  The incident occured in a collision with Canada's Tom Wilson, in which Fiala landed awkwardly. He had to be stretchered off the ice.  Nothing dirty about this collision, freak accident, unfortunate outcome. If someone other than Tom Wilson landed on Fiala's leg, there would be no disc...

Kings Could Make Strong Push For Blue Jackets' Center

The LA Kings are still looking to upgrade and a center is at the top of their needs. Ideally, a center with term would fit nicely in the plans, but even just someone to help with a playoff push and deeper run this season would be of great help as well. According to David Pagnotta, "Charlie Coyle, that's a player that I believe (LA) has some interest in." Coyle is a strong third line center and is able to play as the second line center. He has been doing both his entire career and this season. ...

Dodgers notes: Alex Vesia, Max Muncy, Anthony Banda

Alex Vesia threw a bullpen session as did many other Dodgers pitchers on the first official day of workouts at Camelback Ranch in Arizona. Then the veteran left-hander spoke to reporters en masse for the first time since the death of his newborn daughter Sterling in October. Vesia read a prepared statement for six minutes […]

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NBA. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Lakers fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys. While the Lakers were buyers at the trade deadline, they did more window shopping than anything else. Sure, […]

2026 Rising Stars Challenge Thread

All-Star Weekend gets underway at the Intuit Dome, home of the Los Angeles Clippers, on Friday night! After the celebrity game tips off at 7 p.m. on ESPN, which I cannot fathom anyone on planet Earth caring about, the Rising Stars Challenge begins at 9 p.m. and streams on Peacock! For clarity’s sake, the Rising […]
