The Pittsburgh Steelers dominated the Cincinnati Bengals by a score of 34-12 this past Sunday. The Steelers’ defense had a massive day, scoring twice by way of a Kyle Dugger pick-six and a James Pierre fumble recovery. The defense was able to hold Joe Flacco and company in check after getting thrashed by them just […]

No game on November 18th is going to make or break a team’s season. That said, the Portland Trail Blazers face a pretty important contest tonight when they face the Phoenix Suns at the Moda Center at 8:00 PM. The Blazers are coming off of a 1-4 road trip, their first long outing of the […]
The Baltimore Ravens (5-5) have won their last four games and are playing arguably their worst opponent of the season at home. As a result, they opened as 13.5-point favorites for their Week 12 matchup against the New York Jets (2-8). This is the biggest spread in a Ravens game this season. They have won […]

In case you missed it, in the fourth quarter of the Tennessee Titans’ 16-13 loss to the Houston Texans, Mason Kinsey was running wide open down the field, and Cam Ward threw the ball wide of him. If you haven’t seen it, here’s the play: It is quickly becoming one of the most scrutinized plays […]
Sometimes a team needs a good old-fashioned butt kicking to realize they need to shape up. During the LA’s most recent road trip, they were obliterated by OKC, losing 121-92. The contest showed the difference between a contender and a pretender, and unfortunately for the Lakers, they looked like the latter. The good news is […]
It seems like the 2026 may be the fourth straight offseason in which the Las Vegas Raiders may be looking for a new quarterback. Yes, here we go again. Last offseason, of course, the Raiders thought they ended the yearly turnstile at the most important position in sports when they traded a third-round pick to […]
The Minnesota Wild seem to have recovered from their early-season struggles, at least for now, but that isn’t stopping people from discussing how Minnesota could improve its roster. Trade talks are running rampant, with Joe Smith and Michael Russo confirming that Bill Guerin is looking to improve th...
Stop us if you’ve heard this before, but the Philadelphia Flyers have a goaltending problem.
Coming into the season, it was assumed that incumbent starter Sam Ersson and newcomer Dan Vladar would compete for starts in a tandem situation. Given that Ersson has been with the Flyers for the last few years, it wasn’t a stretch to think that he would get the opening night start and have the lead in the tandem.
But that hasn’t been the case.
Vladar won the starting job out of training...
Waiver Wire Week 12 The hits keep coming. Marvin Harrison Jr. remains out after appendix surgery. Sam LaPorta is headed to IR with a knee injury and will miss the next four games. Ja’Marr Chase has been suspended one game for spitting on Jalen Ramsey during the Bengals’ Week 11 loss to Pittsburgh. We’re more […]
Hockey is the ultimate team game. Your star players should lead the charge, and when they do, it is easier for depth guys, but there have to be games where the depth guys contribute In November, the Edmonton Oilers’ depth players have been nonexistent. Frankly, they’ve been awful. In October, the Oilers’ depth forwards chipped…
The School: University of Kentucky Record: 5-5 (2-5 in the SEC) Ranking: SP+ has them at 43. Mascot: The Wildcat (seriously, he has no “name”) and Scratch. The Wildcat is the one we all know. Scratch is a wide-headed more silly looking wildcat that often has the jersey number “1/2” to be more kid friendly. […]
The Dallas Cowboys took care of business on Monday night against the Las Vegas Raiders and as a result people are feeling pretty good about them for the first time in a while. We all understand that Monday night was just one game and that this team still has a very tough path to the […]
There were two basketball games at Mizzou Arena last night. There was one game which occurred over the first 30 minutes of the Missouri-Prairie View A&M game, and there was a second game which occurred over the last 10 minutes. I’m going to do my best to not entirely focus on the last 10 minutes, […]
Despite abysmal defensive performances the last two weeks, there have been a couple of positives that have come out of the losses. One that is undeniable and something to hopefully build on and around is what we have seen from Walter Nolen. Nolen in three games has put up fine numbers, eight tackles, four tackles […]
The Los Angeles Rams did the thing that very few expected in Week 11 against the Seattle Seahawks. With their cornerback group, they held one of the best offenses in the NFL to fewer than 20 points for the first time since Week 1 and held them to one touchdown after going 1-for-4 in the […]
There was hope going into the 2024-25 season for the Sixers. Daryl Morey used the cap space he created to lure nine-time All-Star Paul George away from the West Coast to play with Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey. That hope dissipated before opening night. Embiid missed the first nine games of the season because of […]

I understood why Cairo Santos and Devin Duvernay received game balls from Bears Head Coach Ben Johnson during his “Good, Better, Best” post-game locker room speech.
But I did not understand why cornerback Nahshon Wright didn’t get one.
It was an odd omission from the Bears head coach. But for what it’s worth, we gave Nahshon Wright some love on The BN Bears Podcast’s latest installment. And I think you can understand why.

The Philadelphia Eagles miraculously won another ugly one on Sunday night. After toppling the Lions, the Eagles are 8-2 and have the inside track to the first seed in the NFC. The Eagles had an uneven performance in their win over the Lions, but they are now focused on the Cowboys. Head coach Nick Sirianni spoke on Monday about his philosophy on winning the turnover battle, gave credit to the defensive line for their selflessness, and lauded Jalen Hurts and his ability to find ways to […]
