The NFL announced the 32 nominees for the 12th annual Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award, and the Philadelphia Eagles gave the honor to Zack Baun. The award was created in 2014 and is present to NFL player who best demonstrates the qualities of on-field sportsmanship, including fair play, respect for the game and opponents and integrity […]
Just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who reads and comments at Bless You Boys. The community here really adds so much to our enjoyment of the Tigers, and the game of baseball. We wish a very Happy Thanksgiving to all our American readership, and a solid Thursday to everyone […]
The Toronto Maple Leafs didn't appear to like the game that Brandon Carlo played once he got to the team and finished out the season. He was a trade deadline acquisition from the Boston Bruins and they overpaid considering how the other side has turned out for Boston and how the Maple Leafs aren't happy with the result on their end. This led to the Maple Leafs attempting to trade Carlo in multiple different ways in the offseason. According to Nick Kypreos, "There's a strong suggestion Toronto ...

For as much as Auburn’s offense has been a trainwreck for most of the year, their defense has generally been one of the better units in the SEC (they had an argument to be considered the best until Vanderbilt hung 45 on them a couple of weeks ago). Defensive coordinator D.J. Durkin (aka DJDKAK) has […]
At some point in the 2025 college football season, QB Cam Ward started to be recognized by the masses as a potential first-round pick. Current Cleveland Browns starting QB Shedeur Sanders entered the season with some hype and questions, while QBs Jaxson Dart and Tyler Shough seemed to come out of nowhere to become considered […]
Ohio State freshman Amare Bynum is beginning to emerge right when the Buckeyes need him most. After posting a 12-point, 10-rebound double-double against Western Michigan and following it with eight points in the blowout win over Mount St. Mary’s, Bynum is carving out real momentum in the rotation. His efficiency and activity in limited minutes […]
The Milwaukee Bucks locked in to post their best defensive rating of the young season, but couldn’t get their offence to hum at the same time against the Miami Heat, losing 106-103 in South Beach. Tyler Herro dominated the Bucks with 29 points on 60% shooting, plus seven assists to boot. The Heat now leads […]
For the first time since the Portland Trail Blazers made the NBA Playoffs in 2021, back when Terry Stotts still roamed the Moda Center sidelines and Neil Olshey sat in the big chair, the franchise played a game with stakes on Wednesday night. The Blazers faced the San Antonio Spurs with a chance to punch […]
Tristan joins me to discuss what we learned from Oregon’s wins over Iowa and Minnesota, review the tape on the fourth straight win over USC, and preview the matchup with the Huskies.
Yeah yeah it’s Thanksgiving hey look we could go with a generic “What are you thankful for?” thing. Let’s twist it, though. Imagine yourself next year, answering that generic daily question post. What are you gonna be thankful for, baseball-wise, once the 2026 season is in the books? That aside, I wish you all a […]
The San Diego Padres have made a couple minor league signings, but there has not been any activity or reported contract discussions with any of the free agents, to include their own. While the offseason work in the front office has yet to be seen, but is surely taking place, Cheri Bell of Gaslamp Ball […]

In Week 13, the Detroit Lions (7-4) are back at home and taking on the Green Bay Packers (7-3-1) in an NFC North showdown on Thanksgiving Day. To help […]
The Toronto Maple Leafs have had a down start to the season and there is cause for concern. There have been trade rumors surrounding players like Calle Jarnkrok and Nick Robertson since the summer or before, but now one of the insiders has started to hear an interesting big name making the rounds. David Pagnotta said, "The one guy that I started to hear his name over the last week, and it might just simply be nothing out of this one, because he has a full no move, but Morgan Rielly." This isn'...

The Cleveland Browns might have a slim chance of still making a push for an AFC playoff spot, but that was mostly just to have something positive to think and talk about to start Thanksgiving Day. In the end, it is far more likely that the 2026 NFL draft order will be the thing we […]
The Colorado Buffaloes keep scoring and they keep winning. Tad Boyle’s squad is 5-0 while scoring 94.4 points per game, something we couldn’t imagine a mere three years ago. Although the competition hasn’t been the most difficult — Eastern Washington might be the best 1-6 team in the country — there’s a lot to be […]
The Pittsburgh Penguins have quickly become one of the deepest organizations for goaltending. With struggles around the league and teams looking for goalies, this is a great time to have extra to spare. Elliotte Friedman said, "This person said to me...they've got Jarry, Silovs, Murashov, Blomqvist, so Pittsburgh has four guys. Now who knows what they would do with all of this and when." Tristan Jarry is the longest-tenured, but there have also been trade rumors surrounding him because of his ...
The Knicks beat the Hornets, what a shocker! New York players got back home to celebrate Thanksgiving with their families as they gear up for Deer dessert on Friday. Here’s what your Knickerbockers had to say before and after playing the Blue Bees on Thanksgiving Eve. Mike Brown On keeping Landry Shamet on the roster:“That’s […]
We had to close the polls early this week with the Thanksgiving holiday because as Kim Kardashian once famously said, no one wants to work anymore. I know I don’t want to. So rather than putting these out on Friday or Saturday as usual you can use this as something to read between the Thanksgiving […]
It’s Thanksgiving, at least among some of the lesser hockey countries. So today, I’m going to list a reason that I’m thankful for each NHL team. That’s it. No gimmicks, or clever twists. I promise I’m not even going to do the “Thanks for reminding us it could always be worse” backhanded compliment thing to anyone. Just one sincere, if slightly bizarre, reason to say a quick thanks to every team.
