Yesterday, TGP’s own Joe Edinger wrote about how the Phillies fared through the first month of the ABS system. You can (and should!) get the big picture from reading his article. But today I’d like to look at the smaller picture. What were the best and worst ABS challenges from Phillies through the first month? […]
Shortly before the 2024 football season began, the Mountain West was turned upside down when Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State, and later Utah State announced they were leaving the conference for the new Pac-12 conference. This led to somewhat of an arms race out west, as both conferences were incomplete and […]
Earlier this morning we recapped some Syracuse schedule news, but there was a piece in there that I wanted to expand on. Pete Corasaniti shared that the Orange plan to play three road exhibtion games next Fall in an attempt to maximize revenue for the program. We know that one game will be against Niagara […]
On Tuesday, the Washington Mystics waived Christeen Iwuala, Nyla Harris and Madison Scott, which gets the team closer to the 12 player roster for opening day. The Mystics can also have two additional players on developmental contracts who don’t play games. But developmental contract players can practice with the team and get paid extra if […]
A detailed scouting report on RSL ahead of FC Dallas’ 2026 showdown, breaking down formations, key players, tendencies, and tactical edges.
There is no such thing as a Joel Embiid stopper. That feels like a decent place to start, because if the Celtics spend the summer trying to find one, they’ll be chasing the wrong thing. Embiid is a former MVP for a reason. When he’s healthy, comfortable and getting to his spots, there are only […]
One of my favorite places to go for prospect content is Baseball America, and I would highly recommend subscribing. This morning BA dropped an updated top 100 list that featured two new Nats. Those two new players are Ronny Cruz and Seaver King, who rank 96th and 99th on the list. Cruz and King are […]
On Friday afternoon, the Boston College women’s lacrosse team will face off against the Yale Bulldogs in the first round of the 2026 NCAA tournament. This is the first time since 2017 that BC is not ranked as a top-8 seed in the tournament, the same year the Eagles made it all the way to […]
We’re back with another episode of Happy Valley Rewind, as this time we take a look back at the culmination of the 2012 season when Penn State knocked off the Wisconsin Badgers on Senior Day. Full game is here.

For as much talk about the San Francisco 49ers reaching, there wasn’t enough about which players they should have taken instead of the ones they did. We’ll do that today. The NFL Draft has come and gone. Sometimes, it’s not about who you drafted, but who you passed up. It’s the beauty of hindsight. Everybody […]
With the 2025-26 season long since in the books, let’s take a few moments to look back at the performance of each member of YOUR Marquette Golden Eagles this year. While we’re at it, we’ll also take a look back at our player previews and see how our preseason prognostications stack up with how things actually played […]
After just a handful shifts in Vancouver on March 19th, Victor Hedman left the eventual 6-2 Tampa Bay Lightning win. He would not return to the line-up for the rest of the season. On Tuesday, he spoke to the assembled media about his absence,
“Obviously, after the first period in Vancouver was kind of the final straw. It’s a thing that’s been going on for a long time, and try to work through it, and find ways to get around it, but I wasn’t able to do that. So, that’s where the decision ca...
Bayern Munich face Paris Saint‑Germain at the Allianz Arena in a Champions League semifinal second leg with everything to play for after a 5‑4 first‑leg thriller in Paris.
The Knicks’ Game One dominance over the 76ers was surprising even to New York fans who had them winning. The game was one-sided in pretty much every aspect, besides free throws, which is one of the things Joel Embiid oddly had gripes with. Shooting, hustle, offensive execution, turnovers, defensive focus, passing—you name it. The Knicks […]
Following a successful return to the ice and the NHL after a three-year absence, Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog was recognized by the voters and named a finalist for the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy. The award goes to the player who displayed perseverance, sportsmanship and dedication to the sport of hockey. After three years of […]
Recently, Rutgers Football hosted Choose NJ for a spring special for the 2026 season. The spring special featured several interviews with Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano and star players such as KJ Duff. One of the questions Schiano was asked was what exactly makes running back Antwan Raymond so special. Schiano’s longer response gave insight […]
Falling to fifth doesn't have to be the end of the Rangers' draft story. With Chris Drury and Mike Grier's history, one current roster player could change everything.
Make no mistake, the Sixers coming back from 3-1 down in their first-round series against the Celtics is by far their biggest playoff achievement in the last 25 years. It’s no surprise that the comeback was fueled by the return of Joel Embiid. The former MVP became the first player in NBA history to score […]

Live reactions to Chicago's slide from No. 2 to No. 4.
Oh, how seductive it must have been. You buy a basketball team. Months later, you are standing at midcourt in Minnesota holding the Western Conference Finals trophy. Cameras catch your face. For one dangerous second you cannot help but think: is this what owning a sports franchise is like? It is not. A few days […]
