Well, that’s no fun. The Sixers released their injury report ahead of their second NBA Cup matchup against the Detroit Pistons. VJ Edgecombe’s name has popped up — he is listed as questionable with back spasms. He did take a couple of hard falls in his most recent game against the Boston Celtics, but this […]

Well, it appears one reinforcement is on the way. No, Paul George will not make his season debut in Detroit Friday and Joel Embiid’s status is murky at best, but it looks like there’s a chance two-way forward Dominick Barlow could return to the lineup. The 22-year-old’s elbow laceration has healed enough to the point […]

Ah, the bad old days.
Last night’s ugly 124-113 loss to the Detroit Pistons felt a lot like the Chicago Bulls of the past few years. Handed an opportunity to snap a losing streak against a heavily depleted opponent, they played easily their worst game of the 2025-26 season. After narrowly taking down the San Antonio Spurs with the same lineup, they played down to the makeshift Pistons rotation and faced a double-digit deficit for essentially the entire game.
No Cade Cunningham or Jal...

Another team where they hate their own team, including their stars. Maybe, especially their stars. I like that they give some love to Payton Pritchard. Calling the Celtics follicly challenged is hilarious. It always amazes me how many fans hate their coach. I cracked up at the coping mechanisms like holding their breath to get low oxygen to their brain and making the Pistons uniforms darker blue to pretend they were the Grizzlies. My favorites are in b...

While it feels hard to call this a trap game with the Chicago Bulls down their two top backcourt players, it sure felt like it in the first quarter. Cade Cunningham and Jalen Duren were both ruled out shortly before tip-off, joining a long list of Pistons who were stuck in street clothes. This meant increased playing time for a handful of motivated youngsters and rotation players. And they took full advantage.
Duncan Robinson came out firing. Taking over the primary scoring role, he start...

The Chicago Bulls will be without their starting point guard for the second straight game.
With a little over an hour before game time, the team downgraded Josh Giddey to OUT with an ankle sprain. He first suffered the injury in the Bulls’ meeting with the Cleveland Cavaliers. While he was able to return to the game and finish things out, the team proceeded to sit him out for Monday’s loss against the San Antonio Spurs.
The Bulls were able to keep things tight in Giddey’s absence, bu...
