I will be watching college football again today. There should be some really good games on, including Ole Miss at Georgia. Notre Dame vs USC could be interesting. For the Big Ten, there’s Michigan versus Washington, Penn State versus Iowa.

Happy Friday, TOC Nation. Game 7 is tomorrow, and it is against perhaps the toughest opponent we will see all season. The Green & White are traveling down I-69 to take on the #3 team in the nation. If MSU loses, they will have a losing record. If, by some miracle, MSU wins, then maybe we […]

What a week. After being the topic of just about every coaching search and potential coaching search in the country, Curt Cignetti inked a new contract to stay in Bloomington, declaring that he plans on “retiring as a Hoosier.” We can all exhale. Meanwhile, Cignetti and No. 3 Indiana will be tasked with defending the […]

Michigan came into Saturday’s game against USC, if not riding high, at least feeling good about itself. After admittedly “taking the air out of the ball” on offense in a week two loss to Oklahoma, the Wolverines opened things up offensively, loosening the reins on freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood and getting more creative in their […]

Let’s roll the tape: Not going to sugarcoat it, this was a rough one to rewatch. Dropping a home game in embarrassing fashion to 1-4 UCLA is one thing, but looking as utterly hapless as Michigan State did speaks volumes about the state of the program in year 2 under Jonathan Smith. Speaking of the […]

We are 6 games through Coach Jonathan Smith’s 2nd season at Michigan State, and so far this season is following the script of year 1: win the first three games, lose the next 3. And we certainly remember how last season finished. Across the college football landscape, the midway point of the season has proven […]

THE MICHIGAN MONEY CANNON TAKES RETURN FIRE When we get charitable around here, we expect certain things.
You’re going to step up in a big way.
You’re going to use some clever numerology in how you make donations.
Somehow, Michigan is going to end up on top.
Through the first day, that bore out — our largest Monday donation was made in honor of Michigan’s 40-34 win over Ohio State in Brady Hoke’s first year.
Now, there’s been some volleys overnight — big shots from Texas A&M, Louisia...
