‘Four-Minute Offense Was Excellent:’ McCarthy Sees Bright Spot In Steelers’ Run Game
The Pittsburgh Steelers struggled to establish the run at Acrisure Stadium against the Atlanta Falcons, making the offense largely one-dimensional Sunday afternoon. Fortunately, the Steelers found that run game in the fourth quarter, particularly in the four-minute drill, helping them put the game away for the first win of the Mike McCarthy era. Though the Steelers rushed for just 58 yards on 21 carries, managing just 2.8 yards per carry, Pittsburgh found some running room at the end of the ga...
‘Super Impactful’: McCarthy Marvels At Watt And Heyward’s ‘Special’ Week 1 Performances
Defense played a huge part in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Week 1 win over the Atlanta Falcons. T.J. Watt in particular was key to Pittsburgh’s 20-13 win. His pick-six gave the Steelers a 10-point lead and ended up being the difference maker. That wasn’t the only big play that Watt made either. He looked like the best version of himself in Week 1, and Mike McCarthy came away impressed with the edge rusher. “Super impactful,” McCarthy said Monday via the team’s YouTube channel. “He got two game bal...
‘Herky-Jerky’: McCarthy Takes Responsibility For Lack Of Offensive ‘Rhythm’ In Steelers’ Opener
Mike McCarthy just coached his first game with the Pittsburgh Steelers, and he earned a win. It’s a meaningful milestone, especially for a man with many ties to Pittsburgh. Like any NFL head coach, McCarthy is already looking for things to correct. There’s a long list on offense. McCarthy thinks that list includes himself. “I thought the play calling on offense was herky-jerky. I didn’t think I did a great job getting the players into a rhythm. At certain parts of the game, I thought we had so...

Ben Johnson’s 59-Point Bears Offense Is SCARIER Than The Score 🤯🔥
Haize explains why that makes the Bears offense potentially sustainable. Caleb threw for 269 yards—not 500. Colston Loveland had zero catches. Yet Swift scored three times, Kyle Monangai broke a 61-yard run, Kmet scored and the Bears kept finding answers. Take Rome away? Kalif Raymond gets you. Bracket Loveland? Run the football. Load the box? Luther Burden gets favorable coverage. That optionality is the real problem for defenses. 🎙️ Full breakdown on Chicago Bears Central. Get a 14-day free ...
