Le Bris provides Diarra injury update

Régis Le Bris has confirmed that Habib Diarra will be sidelined for around six to eight weeks with a hamstring injury. ADINGRA AGREES AJAX LOAN

Simon Adingra will spend the 2026-27 season on loan at AFC Ajax.   The 24-year-old has agreed a deal to join the Dutch giants for the entire Eredivisie campaign.   Adingra joined Sunderland in the summer of 2025, from Brighton & Hove Albion. He made 15 appearances in all competitions in the first half of last season, scoring one goal, before spending the second of the campaign on loan at AS Monaco. SEMEDO JOINS CLERMONT ON PERMANENT TRANSFER

Luis Semedo has joined French Ligue 2 side Clermont on a permanent transfer. The 23-year-old forward moves to Les Lanciers after three years on Wearside. Semedo arrived at Sunderland in the summer of 2023 from Benfica and made 23 appearances for the Black Cats, including four starts. He also spent time on loan during his spell in the North East, making 21 appearances for Moreirense in Portugal last season.
