Date for 2027 Ohio University Football Game Moved

Schoenfeld, Korn Selected on Day 2 of MLB Draft

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Outfielder Paul Schoenfeld and pitcher Ian Korn of the West Virginia University baseball team were selected in the 2026 MLB Draft on Sunday. Schoenfeld was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the eighth round with the 236th overall pick while Korn went in the 10th round to the San Francisco Giants with the 298th overall pick.

Montesa, Yehl Selected on Day 1 of MLB Draft

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University pitchers Dawson Montesa and Maxx Yehl became the latest Mountaineers to be selected in the MLB Draft on Saturday. Montesa was taken by the St. Louis Cardinals in the Competitive Balance-B round with the 72nd overall pick while Yehl was selected in the third round by the Kansas City Royals with the 91st overall pick.
