The Texas Rangers have released infielder Jonah Bride, ending a stint that never produced much in the way of big league opportunity. The Signing That Didn't Pan Out Bride signed a minor league contract with Texas in November, a deal that included an invitation to major league spring training camp. The connection made some sense at the time. Rangers manager Skip Schumaker managed Bride with the Miami Marlins in 2024, the best season of the infielder's career, when he slashed .276/.357/.46...
