Eleven Men Believed
by St Louis Post Dispatch
| Product Description: Before the 1999 NFL season began, prognosticators did not list the St. Louis Rams among the teams favored to make the playoffs. The 1999 St. Louis Rams can now be \"listed\" as division champions, NFC champions, and Super Bowl champions. To commemorate this record-setting season, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch has compiled a book full of columns, articles, and photographs which follow the Rams from training camp in August of 1999 all the way to their win in Super Bowl XXXIV. |

From the supplier: St Louis Post-Dispatch lead sports columnist Bernie Miklasz is as guilty as other sports writers of falling for the hype generated by the public relations department of the Rams football team and by its coach Dick Vermeil. Miklasz has been very effusive in his praise of the Rams draft, particularly of its first-round draft choice Grant Wistrom. However, another Post writer pointed out that the Rams knows next to nothing about these athletes and has only talked to them informally.
